What I say of myself probably tells you less about me than what I say of others or what they say of me. Since nobody else seems to be stepping up to do it, though, here goes:
I think of myself as a computer scientist first, a concerned citizen second, and a student of religion and philosophy third. And on good days, I might try to call myself a photographer and general outdoors-person. I live with my honey (Erin), the best dawg in the world (Saira), and a demon cat who shall remain nameless.
I am a Ph.D. student at the University of Colorado. I work in wireless networking and network security. When I'm not working, I like to spend time outside. I'm involved with the Rocky Mountain Rescue Group, though not as much as I'd like to be.
I used to be at the University of Oregon, and was moonlighting in the Outdoor Leadership Training Program.
Friends and stalkers can now locate me at any time.
